Kamilo Echeverry's warm wood desk setup — Colombia
In their own words
My main advice is to try to know yourself and give life to your tastes. Look to other creators for inspiration and think of this dream as a long-term economic investment. From my experience and the goals I have been able to achieve with my project, I know it can be done.
— Kamilo Echeverry
Observation notes
My main advice is to try to know yourself and give life to your tastes.
Kamilo's studio pairs wood-hex acoustic panels with a full guitar rack behind the desk, floor-to-ceiling windows pulling in daylight around Yamaha NS-10M monitors on stands. Two keyboard controllers stack in front of the main screen, with a neon lightning bolt glowing beside a stray Stormtrooper figurine.
At night the same desk runs entirely on pink LED strip lighting instead of daylight, the DAW timeline lit up in blues and purples to match. He treats the setup as a long-term investment rather than a purchase — knowing your own taste first, then building toward it deliberately.
