Carlos Rendón's warm wood desk setup — Spain

Try to keep it simple.

Carlos built this desk around sound, not screens — an ultrawide monitor is almost incidental next to the Arturia keyboard, an Ableton-style pad grid, and an AudioFuse interface with its distinctive orange XLR inputs. A guitar leans just out of frame, and a Fender effects processor sits close enough to reach without leaving the chair.

The wood desktop stays otherwise bare — no cable clutter, no decoration competing with the gear. It matches his own rule: keep what earns its place, cut what's just a distraction from focus.
