Ugur's warm wood desk setup — Germany
In their own words
My advice to beginners is “just start.” Build your setup with the opportunities you have. The rest will come.

Observation notes
My advice to beginners is “just start.” Build your setup with the opportunities you have.
Ugur's desk runs warm in every sense — amber wall light, a glowing spherical lamp, and a green swirl wallpaper matched across both the LG monitor and the iPhone charging beside it on the shelf. A Mac Mini sits tucked under the wood monitor riser next to a HomePod mini, keeping the compute itself nearly invisible against the desk's warmer objects.
A string of beads hangs off the monitor arm's joint, and a ceramic mug with a hand-painted leaf sits on a wood coaster near a tall black bottle — small personal touches on a desk that otherwise keeps to function: felt deskmat, low-profile keyboard, vertical mouse.
Ugur's own advice is "just start" — build with what you have, the rest comes later — and the desk reads like that in progress: capable, comfortable, and clearly still being added to rather than treated as finished.
