Mars Xiang's 2,500mm custom walnut desk in Shanghai is built around three separate compute nodes — water-cooled Threadripper Pro, Mac Studio M3 Ultra, and HP Z2 Mini — spread across four monitors. The setup treats display real estate as zoned infrastructure, not just more screens.
Observation notes
Hexcal Studio anchors the desk as the cable management and expansion backbone — the fixed layer across three distinct compute environments.
