SummaryResearchers explored treating language as material rather than instruction in creative LLM interaction. A two-week study with four practitioners used the Memetic Mixer, a tangible device constraining LLM interaction, identifying distinct language-use modes and temporalities and contributing design considerations for creative AI practice.
Why it mattersSmall ecological study but offers a concrete design probe and design considerations for open-ended LLM interaction beyond directive prompting, useful for those prototyping creative AI tools.
