SummaryGeoffrey Litt introduces Stevens, a personal AI assistant built with just a single SQLite table and a few cron jobs. The post argues that useful LLM-powered tools don't require complex frameworks, agents, or RAG pipelines—just simple, hackable infrastructure.
Why it mattersConcrete example of a minimal-stack AI assistant; the SQLite-plus-cron architecture is directly replicable and challenges the assumption that personal AI tools need heavy infrastructure.
