SummaryThe Agent Client Protocol (ACP) is an open standard that abstracts AI agent events and outputs, providing a common interface for editors to interact with agents. It is positioned as analogous to MCP but focused on agent-to-client (UI) communication.
Why it mattersACP parallels MCP at the agent-to-editor layer. Worth tracking because a shared client-side protocol would shape how agent tools plug into UIs.
