SummaryResearch paper studying sycophancy propagation in multi-agent LLM discussions. Controlled experiments with six open-source LLMs show that giving agents peer sycophancy rankings reduces error cascades and improves final discussion accuracy by 10.5% absolute.
Why it mattersFirst controlled study of sycophancy in multi-agent setups; the proposed peer-ranking mitigation is lightweight, reproducible, and quantifiably improves downstream accuracy.
