Su Yekai's all-black industrial-design desk — Dongguan
In their own words
Black minimalist style. Working from my own habits, I observe what I actually use, then buy desk accessories around those everyday items. More isn't necessarily better — what suits you is the best rule for a desk setup.
— Su Yekaitranslated
Observation notes
Su Yekai is an industrial designer from Dongguan who approaches his desk the same way he approaches every design brief: observe first, then decide. Every item on this surface earned its place through actual use — 'more is not better; what fits your workflow is the only rule worth following.'
The result is a coherent all-black system. DeepCool CH270 showcase case anchors the right side, its internal structure visible through the panel. ASUS VG27AQL1A sits on a 松能HT ZERO arm with BenQ ScreenBar Pro overhead. EDIFIER N300 speakers flank both ends. Nuphy WH80 and G502X land on a full-coverage Beesir leather pad. Nothing decorative. Nothing redundant.
