JC Gellidon's warm wood desk setup — Makati City, Philippines
In their own words
It’s gonna be expensive. Hahaha! Well ideally you just have to look for a theme and look for a perfect vibe based on your room setup or studio and space. Make sure it’s gonna look good so you feel good while working.
— JC Gellidon
Observation notes
It’s gonna be expensive.
JC's desk faces floor-to-ceiling windows over the Makati skyline, a wood-slatted riser holding Genelec monitors and a matte-black monitor hood shading the screen from the sun. A DaVinci Resolve color-grading keyboard and a trackball sit below, with an iPad displaying drone shot logs — Talikud Island, a farm, a river — propped just beside it.
Road cases and flight cases stack to one side, next to a framed collection of action figures and a beanbag chair facing a second TV. The view alone would justify the space, but he says the real cost was matching that theme all the way through — a look worth building even if it runs into the tens of thousands.
