GHOST Gui Gui's dark desk setup — Guangzhou, China

S·0015 · GHOST Gui Gui · Guangzhou, China · 2025

In their own words

The items on your desk should be kept in an orderly fashion. It's not about having a lot of things, but rather whether they are necessary. Unnecessary items can make your desk look messy and cluttered. It's better to keep essential items within easy reach, so you can access them quickly whenever you need them.

Observation notes

The items on your desk should be kept in an orderly fashion.

GHOST Gui Gui's shelf is a small display case in itself — a red mecha figurine, a row of blind-box collectibles in a tray, and two soft vinyl figures flanking the Hexcal Studio riser, all under a moody forest wallpaper. A digital clock and a Bose speaker round out the shelf, with a Mac mini tucked underneath.

The keyboard is fully transparent, rainbow LEDs diffusing through clear keycaps and case alike — the one item on the desk built to be looked at rather than just used. Everything else stays essential, matching his own rule: only what's necessary earns a spot on the surface.
