This year I put my desk on the fairly open, light-filled balcony. For those of us working away from home, where we live changes every year — renting one place after another — and even in a different rental, a setup can lift your after-work happiness. Of course, for a photography lover who enjoys sharing sunrises and sunsets, a home without sunlight would really trouble me. Honestly, I've stepped into real pitfalls renting these past few years — the sun sits in a different place each season, and the apartment stayed dark all day. This year I moved from a rental into the company dorm — partly because it saves money, leaving more to spend on things that raise my sense of happiness.

Observation notes
Ghost — 鬼鬼 — built a workspace where the monitor doubles as a record wall. Dozens of album covers tile the display in a mosaic grid, treating music not as background but as the room's actual art.
Natural daylight through white shutters keeps the surface bright without washing anything out. The keyboard is a deliberate contrast: pink aluminum case, rainbow keycaps, nothing understated about it. A character-design mouse pad, a Bose speaker to the right, and plants on both ends close out the setup without cluttering it.
