In their own words
at your desk you should do some of your best work. Therefore the environment needs to be what you are most comfortable with. Mine is not 'clean' in design. It's a neverending WIP project. Everything is accessable, optimised & the 'mess' is organised. Make the enviorment one in which you are most comortable with.

Observation notes
Barry's desk philosophy is straightforward: comfort over aesthetics, function over form. A Director and developer based in Nottingham, he describes his workspace as 'a neverending WIP' — everything accessible, everything optimised, the apparent mess organised by design. The pine-walled enclosure amplifies that workshop energy; this is a space built around the person, not the other way around.
